Robert Earl "Bob" May

Thomson, GA – Mr. Robert Earl "Bob" May, 68, of Gardner Drive entered into rest at his residence on July 31, 2018.

Mr. May was a native of Florida, the son of the late Norman May and the late Margaret Garvey May. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam War, a retired electrician, and enjoyed gardening. Mr. May was a Mormon by faith and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to his parents, Mr. May was predeceased by his wife Sharon Quarles May.

Survivors include his daughters, Stacy May of Thomson, GA and Teresa May of Augusta, GA; brothers, Richard May of Florida and David May of North Carolina; and grandson, Jackson May of Thomson, GA.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2018 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Brother George Nichols officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
