Robert James Myers

JAMES MYERS RETIRED Mr. Robert James Myers, 98 of North Gibson St. Warrenton, GA entered into rest December 10, 2008. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Rayner officiating. Mr. Myers was born in Lincoln County and was the son of the late Newton Collie Myers and the late Sarah Frances Tankersley Myers. He lived Lincoln and Wilkes Counties for many years before moving to Warrenton, GA in 1973. He was retired from Royal Manufacturing. Mr. Myers was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and had served as a deacon. Survivors include: His wife: Sara Myers- Thomson, GA Son: Jack Myers and wife Beverly- Valdosta, GA Daughters: Lairee Rodgers- Washington, GA Beverly Baker and husband Roy- Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Grandchildren: Jack Myers, Jr., Michele Ross, Maethea Rodgers, Melissa Watlington, Kelly Baker, Craig Baker, Ted Baker 1 Great-grandchild He was preceded in death by Jessie Mae Goolsby Myers and Alvie Myers.
