Martinez, Georgia - Mr. Robert "Flash" Featherston, III, 70, entered into rest September 2, 2012.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Featherston was born in Lexington, Kentucky and was the son of the late Robert Featherston, Jr. and the late Mary Catherine Long Featherston. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the Finance Department with Gerald Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine McCoy Featherston and three brothers.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
