Robert "Lance" Dent, 50, Grovetown, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2022.

Lance was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 18, 1971, grew up in Thomson, Georgia, graduated from Thomson High School and lived most of his life in Thomson, Georgia. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed working on and repairing things and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Lance is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Dent and host of Uncles and Aunts and others that have gone on before him.  He is survived by his mother, Belinda Dent; his Aunt, Betty Seifford (Jim); his Uncle Gary Duckworth (Kathy); his longtime girlfriend, Leslie Ivey; his sons Robert Chase Dent (Emily) of Cumming, Georgia, River Chance Dent of Keysville, Georgia and Katelyn Ivey Pin (Chris) of Dearing, Georgia; his sister, Rhonda Correia (Chris); his grandchildren, Kaylyn Pin, Emma Pin and Erik Pin; a step-grandchild, Carter Bailey; his niece, Addison Correia and nephew, Corbin Correia and many extended family.

His Gathering of Remembrance will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia. Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
