Robbie Evans Tanner

Mrs. Robbie Evans Tanner, 74 of Tanner Rd., Washington entered into rest on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Tabor Baptist Church, Tignall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tanner, daughter of the late Clifton and Tommie Mae Hill Evans was born in Abbeville, SC on October 11, 1945. For over 30 years, she operated a day care in her home and helped raised many children. She enjoyed watching them all grow up and they were always a part of her "family". She loved to travel, enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of Tabor Baptist Church.  Her husband, Curtis Tanner and sons, Jeffery Tanner and Michael Tanner, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter Teresa Tanner of Washington; grandchildren, Tanner Bridges and husband Tom, Lauren Harrison and husband Sam, Ashton Hardy and husband Ben; five great- grandchildren.
