Richard Edward Shaver, Jr.

Dearing, Georgia- Mr. Richard Edward "Richie" Shaver, Jr., 36, entered into rest June 1, 2016 after an illness.

Mr. Shaver was born in the Federal Republic of Germany, but had lived in Dearing for 30 years.  He graduated from Thomson High School in 1997 and earned a B.A. degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Georgia in 2005.  Mr. Shaver served his country in the U.S. Navy and was currently employed by Ipswitch, Inc. as a computer technician.  His passing has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of those who loved him.

Survivors include his parents, Richard Edward Shaver, Sr. and Frederica Chester Shaver of Dearing, Georgia; his sister, Lynn Shaver of Warner Robins, Georgia; and aunts, uncles, and cousins all of Pennsylvania.

It is the family's request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to your local animal shelter in Richard's name.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
