Richard Mark Clark, Sr., 67, Martinez, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2022.

Mark was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 6, 1954, grew up in Augusta and lived most of his life in Appling, Georgia.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved shootin' the breeze and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Clark and Sarah Inez Bryant Clark; his brothers, James Clark, Gary Clark, Spencer Clark and Coley Clark and his great nephew, Jacob Quarles.  His survivors include his sons, Wesley Clark (Maegen), Ricky Clark (Sara), Derek Clark (Amy) and Brannon Clark (Bonnie); his daughter, Alisa Benson; his brother, Bruce Clark (Linda) of Martinez; his sister, Deborah McNeal (Ted) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Whitton, Dawson, Jeremy, Katie, Elijah, Zachary, Caleb, Joel, Mercedese and Aaron and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

His Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, and his Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia with the interment at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens following the service.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.  Pallbearers for the service are Wesley Clark, Ricky Clark, Derek Clark, Brannon Clark, Bruce Clark, Jeremy Clark and Travis Clark.
