Rhonda Lee (Clark) Davis

Rhonda Lee Clark Davis, a loving, friendly, and creative woman, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2023, in Augusta, Ga. after a courageous battle with cancer. Rhonda was born in Dr. Pennington's office on October 27, 1961. She grew up in Lincolnton and was a proud graduate of Lincoln County High School Class of 1979. She was a lifelong resident of Lincolnton and spent 14 years of her career as a dedicated manager at Walmart in Evans. She retired in 2016 when her health began to fail. She grew up attending Ebenezer Baptist Church and, in her later years, was a member of Parks Grove FBH Church. Her faith was a source of strength and comfort during her illness.

More than anything, Rhonda was a mother not only to her own children but to everyone in her family and neighborhood. Her home was always open, her kitchen always full of food, and her arms always ready to comfort and support. Her interests included gardening and attending drag races. Rhonda's life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and kindness.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will be dearly missed by her, Delando Clark, and daughters, Earnessa Davis, Anijah Lazenby, Pernisa Elam and husband Jeffery, and Sable Davis. She was a beloved sister to Michael Clark, Earnestine Zellars, and Mary Lazenby. Rhonda's joy multiplied with the birth of each grandchild, and she leaves behind J'Leigh Clark, Parker Clark, Juliya Lewis, Josian Davis, Sade McGahee, Aiden Ferguson, Ariy Elam, J'Siah Euten, Hazael Euten, and Miracle Davis.  She also leaves behind her very special friend, Geraldine Davis.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Addie Phelps Clark, and siblings, Douglas Parker, Kent Clark, David Clark, Larry Clark and the father of her children, Alex Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 4pm at True Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
