Rhoda Knight Brown Thomson, GA. - Mrs. Rhoda Knight Brown 81, entered into rest April 13, 2012 at Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 o'clock a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Thomson with Dr. Leonard L. Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was born in Glascock County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late William Vinson Reese and the late Celia Mae Lamb Reese. She was a retired health care provider from McDuffie County Hospital and Thomson Manor. Mrs. Brown was a member of the First Baptist Church, Thomson. Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Knight Cason and husband, Jeff of Thomson; sons, Robert Lewis Knight of England and Robert Lee Brown of Florida; brothers, William Homer Reese of Washington, Charlie L. Reese of Grovetown, and Billy Reese of Vero Beach, FL; sisters, Elsie Warren of Vero Beach, FL, Wally Irwin of Leesburg, FL, and Betty Graves of St. Petersburg, FL; three grandchildren, Anthony Patrick Ivie, Lokey Rabun Mauck, and Robert Lewis Knight, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
