Gene Wells. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM , Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating . Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery . Mrs. Wells was born in Walhalla , SC and was the daughter of the late Dewey Crowe and the late Gertrude McCall Crowe. She was a homemaker and an artist. Mrs. Wells was also a member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include: Husband- Judge Gene Wells- Thomson, GA Sons - Tom Wells and his wife Krista- Thomson, GA Steve Wells and his wife Tracy - Dearing, GA Brothers- Kenneth Crowe- Sylva, NC Kine Crowe- Brevard, NC Wade Crowe- Murphy, NC Grant Lee Crowe-Anderson, SC Sisters- Ruth Gibson-Sylva, NC Ione Extine- Cashiers, NC Diane Taylor- Cairo, Egypt Grandchildren- Hollis Wells, Brittany Wells, Kate Wells, Tommy Wells and Victoria Wells The family will receive friends from 7 until 9PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
