Thomson, GA- Mr. Reese Langham, 79, of Ridge Road, entered into rest June 14, 2016.

Mr. Langham was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and the son of the late Bunyan T. Langham, Sr. and the late Thelma Reese Langham. He served in the National Guard for ten years.  Mr. Langham worked as a parts manager for B. P. Johnson Olds Pontiac and Johnson Chevrolet for many years and was retired from Bellsouth as a technician. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and had served as a deacon. He was also predeceased by a brother, J. W. Langham and a sister, Blanche Lambert.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Jean Langham; daughter, Judy Lendman (Larry); brother, Bunyan T. Langham, Jr.; sister, Waistel Thigpen; grandchildren, Brian Thaxton and Jeanne Knafelc; 4 great grandchildren and special friends, Buddy Russell and Larry Meadows.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Friday, June 17 th in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Baston officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m.., Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1901 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
