Rebecca K. Thompson Warrenton, GA. - Mrs. Rebecca Kennedy Thompson, 72, of Little Brier Creek Church Rd. entered into rest April 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late J. H. Thompson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 o'clock a.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Little Brier Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Trey Franks, Jamie Smith, Ricky Cofer, Kevin Cofer, Jack Garrison and Bobby Mauck. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Warren County and she was the daughter of the late Dorsey Kennedy and the late Margaret Gilmer Kennedy. Mrs. Thompson was retired as a Supervisor from Thomson Company with over 20 years of service. She was also a member of Little Brier Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Vickie T. Dunham and husband, John; son, Gary Thompson and wife, Melinda all of Warrenton; grandchildren, Jason Dunham, Jonathan Dunham and Hannah Thompson; brothers, Roger Kennedy of Martinez, Jimmy Kennedy of Watkinsville, Larry Chalker and Ken Amerson both of Thomson; sister, Kathy Dupree of Thomson and step-mother, Ellen Kennedy of Thomson.
