Biography

Reba Baggett Pounds Thomson, Ga. - Mrs. Reba Brown Baggett Pounds, 90 of Hillcrest Drive entered into rest June 27, 2010 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Charlie Baggett and the late Henry Pounds. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. John Barnes and Elton Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: David McClearen, Charles Smith, Graham Smith, Tommy Montgomery, Chris Partridge and Mark Partridge. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the OSME Sunday School Class. Mrs. Pounds was born in Washington, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Young Bryan Brown and the late Lillie Pearl Cosby Brown. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church and a member of the OSME Sunday School Class. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Partridge and husband Vic of Thomson; son, Kenny Baggett and wife Reba of Augusta; step-daughters, Beth Perdue and Joan Neal both of Thomson; sister, Louise Smith of Tignall; grandchildren, Melissa Baggett, Amy Partridge and Brittney Partridge; and a special caregiver, Mildred Clifton. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the medical staff that cared for Miss Reba during her illness. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P. O.
