Thomson, GA – Mrs. Reba Whitener Edmonds, 88, entered into rest June 25, 2018.

Reba W. Edmonds was born on October 13th, 1929 to the late John Wesley and Nora Freeman Whitener of Tignall, Georgia. She had four brothers and five sisters, who preceded her in death, and Reba married the late Irvin Edmonds in 1957. She's survived by her children, Kim Edmonds (Denise Edmonds) of Dahlonega and Kay Holbert of Thomson, her grandson, Steve Holbert of New York, and her niece, Peggy Mendricks of Thomson. Reba graduated from Tignall School after eleven years and retired from Thomson Company after forty years. She was an active member of Christian Faith Church. Reba spent her afternoons making cookies, taking road trips, and searching for the perfect milkshake.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rodney Dunaway and Rev. Paul Reviere officiating.  Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to Christian Faith Church.
