Rashad Bolton

Rashad Bolton, 29, departed earthly life on Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born on June 21, 1991, to Gerome and Lilvender Bolton of Lincolnton, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Clara Bolton; uncles, Willie and Henry Bolton; and aunt, Delois Ferguson.

Rashad graduated from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School in 2009.  After graduation, he served 4 years in the U.S. Navy in Aerography.  Rashad was a kind-hearted, fun-loving, and family-oriented young man. He loved his family, and they loved him in return. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed reading, and loved to travel. Although gone much too soon, Rashad led a memorable life and will not be forgotten by the many lives he touched.

Rashad Bolton is survived by his loving parents, Gerome and Lilvender Bolton of Lincolnton, GA; and one brother, Tico Hall of Athens, GA. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his maternal grandmother, Tishia Evans, with whom he had a very special relationship; five uncles, Ricky Evans of Washington, GA; Deon Evans of Athens, GA; Roger (Christine) Bolton, Bobby Bolton, and Leroy Bolton, all of Lincolnton, GA; four aunts, Precious Salmon of Tampa, FL, Edna (Jon) Dixon of Brandon, FL, Sunduk Bolton of Schertz, TX, and Anita Bolton of Lincolnton, GA; a very special cousin, Monteck Thomas of Washington, GA; and a host of other cousins, family, and friends.

Graveside services for Rashad Bolton will be held at New Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lincolnton, GA  on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 1 p.m.
