Randy Allen Minton Thomson, Georgia- Mr. Randy Allen Minton, 57, of Pine Ridge Rd. entered into rest December 24, 2012. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Mr. Minton was born in Emanuel County but lived most of his life in McDuffie County,Georgia. He was the son of the late Sanford D. Minton and the late Betty Lee Kersey. Mr. Minton was a machinist and had worked with Blue Dot and HP Pelzer. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Minton; sons, Michael Bray and Raymond Wheeler; sisters, Diane Norred and husband, Larry of Grovetown, Karen Stephens and husband, Glenn of Thomson, Sandy Bryant of Thomson, Pam Johnson and husband, Dodge and Wanda Kersey all of Warrenton and Leslie Tucker and husband, Stacy of Norwood; brothers, Tony Kersey and wife, Tish of Warrenton and Chris Kersey and wife, Wendy of Norwood. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Minton. The family will receive friends prior to and following the memorial service. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements
