Thomson, Georgia - Mr. Ralph Edward Rogers, 76, entered into rest September 20, 2016.

Mr. Rogers was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Joseph B. Rogers and the late Alma Landrum Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a retired Sales Representative for Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc., having worked for the company for over 53 years beginning part-time while still a student at Thomson High School.  He was a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Sylvia Williams Rogers; a daughter, Tanya Langham (Cliff); a son, Ralph Edward Rogers, II (Amy); a granddaughter, Tori Langham all of Thomson, GA; and a sister, Farris Nunn of Washington, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Saturday, September 24 ^th in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Lambert officiating.  Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at the funeral home.
