Phyllis Carroll Shoemaker Dearing, Georgia - Mrs. Phyllis Carroll Shoemaker, 54, of Boneville Circle, entered into rest November 7, 2012 at Doctors Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Shoemaker was a native of LaGrange, Georgia and was the daughter of the late James Richard Burnett and late Peggy June Burnett. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, and loving mother. Mrs. Shoemaker was a member of Second Baptist Church of Thomson. Survivors include her husband, Donald Shoemaker; son, Brian Shoemaker; daughter, Crystal Shoemaker; brothers, Jamie Burnett, Timothy Shane Burnett; sisters, Teresa Hamilton and Dana Lawler. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson is in charge of arrangements.
