Perry Hugh Tam

Hephzibah, GA – Mr. Perry Hugh Tam, 63, entered into rest May 7, 2019.

Mr. Tam was born in Louisville, Georgia, the son of the late James Elton Tam and the late Ladessa Usry Tam.  He grew up in Thomson, GA and graduated from Thomson High School in 1973.  Mr. Tam served in the U.S. Navy and was an electrician with the local IBEW #1579.  He loved cars, music, and gardening.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Tam was predeceased by his brother, Michael Keith Tam.

Survivors include his brothers, James E. Tam, Jr. and wife Dana, William "Billy" Tam and wife Nan, Gary Tam and wife Sharon, and Stanley Tam and wife Kim; and sisters, Brenda Jean Hughes and Shirley Gail Kelso and husband Greg, along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2019 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Will Salters of Local IBEW #1579 speaking.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m., at the funeral home, Friday prior to the service.
