Perry Pelham Norman, Sr.

Mr. Perry Pelham Norman, Sr. 86 of Metasville Rd., Lincolnton entered into rest on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mr. Norman, son of the late Frank Norman and Lenoy Willis Bentley was born on February 24, 1935 in Lincoln County. He retired from McCormick Mill after 56 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Emory Norman, sister, Lavilla Flanigan and half-sister, Gwinnett Bentley.

He is survived by his wife, Olivia Rhodes Norman; son, Perry P. Norman, Jr. and wife Jayne of Martinez; daughters, Jan Biles and husband Danny of Lincolnton and Joy Crookham and husband Jerry of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Jeremy Crookham and wife Sarah, Daniel Biles and wife Misty, Robert Biles and wife Amber, Brandon Biles and wife Holly, and Kristy Crookham; 9 great- grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
