Mitchell, GA - Mrs. Peggy Toulson Jackson, 70, was formally introduced to her Savior Jesus on February 16, 2013.
She was an active member of Long Creek Baptist Church in Warrenton, GA. Second to Peggy's love of Jesus was her love of 52 years, her husband, Wayne Lanier Jackson, son, Bobby L. Jackson (Martha), daughter, Tracey J. Adams (Chris), and daughter, Terri J. Boyer (Neil). She had eight grandchildren, Brittany Rich (Matt), Brooke Harris (Danny), Hollie Algier (Brett), Kristin Reddick (Randall), Megan McDade (Matt), Linc Boyer, Drew Usry, Emily Usry, Lauren Adams, and Josh Adams; three great grandchildren, Brayden Reddick, Brendon Rich, and Jackson Harris; and extended family, Chris Stowe, Stephanie Griffith, Jessica Purcell, and Nicole Purcell. Additional survivors include her sister, Betty Ann Kitchens; brothers, Ray Toulson, Sammy Toulson, and James Toulson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to name. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin R. Toulson, mother, Erma Skelley Toulson, brothers, Billy Toulson and Claude Toulson, and sister, Mary June Richards.
She leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness, guidance, and friendship. She touched many lives. Peggy will truly be missed.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Long Creek Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Chad Crews will be officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Richardson, Jeff Purcell, Scott Hawkins, Dwain Stowe, Bobby Ray Toulson, Marvin Toulson, David Toulson, and Tyler Godbee.
Friends may call the residence or from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
