Peggy Lynn Abbott Thomson, GA. - Ms. Peggy Lynn Abbott, 49, of Edgar Circle entered into rest December 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Washington Heights Baptist Church with Revs. Rodney Peavey and Sonny Peevy officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Peggy was born in Ft. Benning, Georgia but lived in Thomson, Georgia most of her life. She had worked as a legal secretary and also had been employed by the John Deere Assembly Plant in Grovetown. Peggy was a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Faith Lokey, Lacey Lokey Hughes and husband, Michael; son, Tyler Lokey; parents, William " Bill" Abbott and Elaine Pilgrim Abbott; brother, Mike Abbott and wife, Barbara all of Thomson, GA; sister, Linda Barnett and husband, Mickey of Newberry, SC; and grandchildren, Maddox Redd and Hannah Grace Hughes. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson is in charge of arrangements.
