Paul Dean Holman, 74, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2022.
Paul was born on January 12, 1948, in Mishawaka, Indiana, where he spent his childhood and graduated from high school. Following high school, he attended the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and Ray-Vogue School of Photography. Paul employed his talents as a photographer after enlisting in the U.S. Army on June 12, 1969. His accomplished career took him and his family to many domestic and overseas locations, settling in Thomson, Georgia upon retirement on October 31, 1991. During Paul's decorated service to his country, he was awarded a Bronze Star for his participation in the Gulf War. He was a talented craftsman, avid fisherman, and loved spending time outdoors. Paul especially treasured spending time with his family and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert "Red" Holman and Vada Thomason Rhoton. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Doris Holman; his son Troy Holman (Nemie); daughter, Tracy Wells (Steve); his brother, Dale Rhoton (Dawn); his sister, Linda Ulrich; His grandchildren, Kaylee Korst, Brittany Wells and Victoria Wells and one great grandchild, Declan Korst.
