Patrick Steven Griner

Patrick Steven Griner, 70, of Indian Cove Road, a man of faith and remarkable ingenuity, passed away on September 1, 2024, at his home in Lincolnton, Georgia. Born on March 17, 1954, in New York, Patrick's life was a testament to his intelligence, faithfulness, and handy skills.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM at his beloved church, Morningside Baptist Church.  Rev. Ray Farrow and Rev. Dan Fernandez will officiate his service.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ann Marie Misuraca Griner, and his brother, Robert J. Griner. Professionally, Patrick was known as an electronic wizard. His ability to repair practically any clock, watch, or radio was nothing short of magical. His hands, guided by a keen mind, brought life back to countless timepieces and devices, earning him respect and admiration in his community and beyond. A faithful member of Morningside Baptist Church since 1997, Patrick's dedication to his faith was evident in his service. As the sound technician for the church's music ministry, he ensured that every note and every word was heard clearly, enhancing the worship experience for all. His creative spirit shone brightly as he crafted decorative props for Vacation Bible School, bringing joy and wonder to the children's hearts. As we bid farewell to Patrick Steven Griner, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by devotion, skill, and a deep love for his community. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Though he has left this earthly realm, the impact of his kind spirit and the work of his hands will resonate for generations to come.
