Patricia Kelley Young, a beacon of kindness and faith, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, in Lincolnton, GA. Born on May 15, 1942, in Augusta, GA, Patricia's life was a testament to the love and dedication she had for her family, her work, and her community. Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, John Young, with whom she shared a life full of love and mutual respect. She was a cherished mother to her daughter, Heather Young, who will forever hold dear the lessons and memories they shared. Patricia's warmth extended to her niece, Deborah Pinion, and nephews, Jeffery Bessinger, Robert Bessinger, Charles Walden, and Bootsie Walden, all of whom will miss her guiding presence. For many years, Patricia served as the office manager and dispatcher for Youngs3 Trucking, where her impeccable organizational skills and warm demeanor made her an indispensable part of the team. Her colleagues will remember her as the heart of the office, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement. Patricia's interests outside of work were a reflection of her resourceful and adventurous spirit. She found joy in exploring yard sales and flea markets, always on the lookout for hidden treasures and unique finds. These simple pleasures brought her immense happiness and offered a glimpse into her appreciation for the small wonders of life. Those who knew Patricia will remember her as the epitome of kindness. Her faith-filled nature was evident in her every action, and she lived her life as a shining example of compassion and grace. Patricia's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished as a reminder of the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many.
