Patricia A. "Pat" Thrush, 83, of Leesville, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2025. Born in Washington, GA, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Juanita Johnson Marshall. Pat enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks, and a love for watching Dale Earnhardt race. She is survived by her children, Andy Burgess (Candi), Lee Burgess (Trisha), Debbie Scott Justice (Jim), and Dewayne Scott (Roni); grandchildren, Kassidy Roof (Ben), Jacob Burgess (Lindsey), Riley Burgess, Shane Burgess (Dalenie), and Toby Burgess; as well as her great-grandchildren, Lucas and Morgan Roof, Willow and Dawson Burgess, and soon-to-arrive grandson, Barrett Burgess. Also surviving are her brother, John Marshall (Darla); along with numerous extended family members. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Scott; brother, Earl Venson Marshall; and sister, Mary Jean Shelton. A funeral service for Pat will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 27th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Bill Paulling. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Lincolnton City Cemetery, Lincolnton, GA. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Pat's special friend and caregiver, Winnie, for her love and support.
