Augusta, Ga: Pansy Johnson Boddiford entered into rest, July 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony Boddiford, her daughter April Boddiford, parents, Tom Truitt Johnson and Mattie Smith Johnson, and sisters Lois Johnson, Edna Mauldin and Bernice Maddox. Mrs. Boddiford was born in Warren County, GA, and spent most of her life in Texas, before moving to Augusta. She received her B.S. in elementary education and taught in public schools in Georgia and Texas, and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Augusta, DAR, Augusta Woman's Club, and various community projects.

Mrs. Boddiford is survived by her niece, Rebecca Johnson French, and husband Tyler, of Augusta, GA.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, August 4th in the Storey Chapel, of First Baptist Church of Augusta
