Pamelia Edmunds Brown

Mrs. Pamelia Edmunds Brown, 93, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Petra Health & Rehab in McCormick Mrs. Brown, daughter of the late Warren Newton and Elizabeth Cooper Edmunds, was a lifelong resident of Parksville.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph Perry Brown.  She was a homemaker and member of the Parksville Baptist Church, where she served as church treasurer for many years, as a Sunday School teacher and as president of the Women's Missionary Union.  She enjoyed cooking and her life was surrounded by her church and family. Survivors include her daughters:  Betty Jo B. Jackson & husband, Joe, of Crestview, FL and Lanelle B. Jones of Modoc, SC; her sons: Warren Brown & wife, Rebecca of Greenwood, SC and Heyward Brown & wife, Marcia of McCormick, SC; along with thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Parksville Baptist Church with Rev. Craig McDaniel officiating.  Her grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Parksville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Friday evening, February 6, from 6:00 until 8:00pm.  Friends may also call at the residence of Warren Brown, 224 Mountainview Drive, Parksville.
