Pamela Diane "Pam" Holloway of Dallas, TX (formerly of McCormick) died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in Texas. Pam was the daughter of Lewis D. "Don" and the  late Bernice Leaphart Holloway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Lovas.

She was born in Greenwood County, SC and was a graduate of Clemson University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. During most of her life, she had lived in Dallas and along with her husband, Mike co-founded AboutPeople, a motivational employee development company. As an author and motivational speaker, Pam had opportunities to travel abroad as well as to many areas of the US. She had also worked with ExxonMobil and Apache.

She is survived by her father Lewis D. "Don" Holloway and sister, Sandy McKinney.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Republican United Methodist Church, McCormick. The family will receive friends in the church social hall beginning at 10:30 until the hour of the service. Following the service, a time of fellowship will be held in the church social hall.
