Dearing, Georgia- Ms. Pamela Gunter, 60, entered into rest June 12, 2017 with her family by her side.

Pam was born in Oconee County, Georgia, but lived in McDuffie County most of her life. She was a homemaker; an artist who loved the outdoors, animals, gardening, and flowers. Pam was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Thaxton; her parents, Robert and Irene Gunter; and brothers, Bob Gunter (C.J.) and Jeff Gunter (Cloris).

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, GA with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
