Nannie Ruth Walton

Mrs. Nannie Ruth Walton Lincolnton, GA- Mrs. Nannie Ruth Walton, 85 wife of the late Frank W. Walton of Lovelace Rd. died Monday, June 27th at Heritage Health Care, Washington, Ga. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1st at 11 a.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Revs. Donnie Walton & O'Neal Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Walton, daughter of the late James T. and Maggie Banks Martin, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. She had retired from Royal Manufacturing as a seamstress and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School for many years. She was preceded in death by her grand-daughter, Nicole Ashmore, and her brothers, Hammond Martin, J.B. Martin, Tommy Martin, and her sisters, Evelyn Goldman, and Susie Mae Edwards. Survivors: Sons: Rev. Donnie Walton, and wife, Lauren of Oak Grove, MO. Gary Walton and wife, Ginny of Lincolnton Daughters: Betty Ruth Martin Denard, Carrollton, Ga; Beverly W. Riffe, and husband, Jack of Harlem; and Susan W. Ashmore, and husband, Steve of Lincolnton Sister: Lanette M. Drinkard, and husband, Gerald of Washington 14 Grandchildren & 22 Great-grandchildren Mrs. Walton grandsons, Austin Ledoux, Andrew Ashmore, Justin Ashmore, Jamie Walton, and Michael Walton will serve as pallbearers.
