Nancy Chastain

Mrs. Nancy Goldman Chastain, 84, of Chastain Dr. entered into rest on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at University Hospital, Augusta.

Mrs. Chastain, daughter of the late M.L. and Susie Mae Wellmaker Goldman, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and lived in on her beloved Creekside Farm since she was 15 years old. She was a retired seamstress, and faithful member of Greenwood Baptist Church where she had served in the Nursery for over 40 years and worked with the GA's. Her husband, Clarence Chastain, and brother, J.D. Goldman, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Anne Matthews and husband Randall; sister, Sybil G. Dunaway; grandson, Marcus Matthews and wife Jandi and great- grandchildren, Mary Claire Matthews and Lucy Matthews all of Lincolnton..

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Saturday evening at Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave., Lincolnton, Ga.
