Nancy Bowers Aiken, SC- Mrs. Nancy Holzendorf Bowers, 58, entered into rest June 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Sikes Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Thomson. Mrs. Bowers was a native of Thomson, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Holzendorf and the late Jerry McGahee Holzendorf. She was retired from Bellsouth and she was a member of First Baptist Church, Thomson. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Bowers, Lithonia, GA; step-sons, Bruce Bowers, Jr. and Jack Bowers; step-mother, Kaye Holzendorf, Thomson, GA; sister, Mariruth Rogers and husband, James, Aiken, SC; nephew, Michael Rogers; aunt, Melba Smith, Prospect, KY; uncle, Billy Holzendorf, Salisbury, NC and Ray Parish. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o'clock p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
