Nadine Bertha Hoeller

Nadine Hoeller, 80, of Appling, Ga., formerly of LaVale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021. Nadine went peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones and the amazing care givers from Heartland Hospice Care. She fought Alzheimer's for several years and because of her husband's wonderful loving care day in and day out ,she was able to remain at home with her family. She was born in Chicago, Ill., Oct. 3, 1941, daughter or the late Dorothy and Lloyd Risberg. She was proceeded in death by her sister, Judith Scherer. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bob Hoeller; her children, Bob and wife, LaDonna Hoeller, and Patti and husband, Jimmy Leydig; grandchildren, Rob and wife, Brittany Hoeller, Nathan and wife, Rachel Hoeller, Aja and husband, Anthony Alberti, and Sami Hoeller, Meghan Leydig, Garrett and wife, Haylea Leydig, and Tyler Leydig; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Vivian Hoeller, Isaiah, Aerabella and Marlee Hoeller, and Raelynn and Jarvis Alberti, and Kaysen Leydig. Also survived by her favorite fur baby, Ginger. Nadine was retired from Western Maryland hospital as a unit secretary. Previously worked at Artmor Plastics, in Cumberland, as executive secretary, and had also worked at Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Nadine was a long time member of Park Place UMC, where she enjoyed singing with the choir for many years, and also recently attended Quest UMC, in Grovetown. At the request of family, there will be no public visitation or service. The family held a private viewing and remembrance celebration of her life.
