Myra Richards Rabun Warrenton, GA - Mrs. Myra Richards Rabun, 83 entered into rest March 3, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold J. Rabun. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012 from the Sweetwater Baptist Church with Revs. J.B. Redd and Grant Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Rabun was a native of Warren County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late B. E. Richards and the late Frances Rabun Richards. She was retired from civil service at Ft. Gordon with 30 years of service. Mrs. Rabun was a faithful and devoted member of Sweetwater Baptist Church where she had served as secretary of the youth department. Survivors include her daughter, Lori King and husband, John of Eatonton, GA; sister, Brenda Wilson and husband, Willard of Warrenton, GA; grandchildren, Wyatt King and Rachel King. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, J. D. Richards and Felts Richards. Memorials may be made to Sweetwater Baptist Church, 1606 Wrens Hwy, Thomson, GA 30824. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Sweetwater Baptist Church.
