Mildred P. Martinovich

Appling,  GA -Mrs. Mildred P. Martinovich, 93, entered into rest October 29, 2015.

Mrs. Martinovich was a lifelong resident of Columbia County, GA and the daughter of the late John Forest Pearson and the late Willie Agnes Evans Pearson. She was the retired manager of the Appling Service Station and helped her sister at Sanderlin's Greenhouses. Mrs. Martinovich was a member of Kiokee Baptist Church and served as the pre-teen girls sunday school teacher for over 30 years. In addition to her parents and several brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Martinovich.

Survivors include her son, Douglas Martinovich (Pam); brothers, Jerry Pearson (Marlene), John D. Pearson (Laurie); and sister, Judy Sanderlin all of Appling, GA ; grandchildren, Christian Schnetzler and Kate Hefner and great grandchildren, Madison Hamlin, Hannah Hamlin, Meg Goodwin and Houston Hefner.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Kiokee Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Andy Collins officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

It is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to the Macula Vision Research Foundation or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
