Life Legacy

Mr. Tanner was a native of Wilkes County, the son of Curtis and Robbie Evans Tanner. He was the owner operator of Tanner Tree Service and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents survivors include a daughter Emily Anna Tanner, Tignall, GA. a brother Jeffery Tanner and a sister Teresa Tanner Saggus, both of Washington, GA. Mr. Tanner is also survived by nieces Tanner Bridges, Lauren Guinn, and Ashton Tanner, as well as a close friend Denise English and her daughter Victoria English. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. from the Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Reviere officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger McAvoy, Wade Waller, John Moon, Brad Denard, Ruben Echols, Dempsey Totherow, Tony Powell and Steve Phelps. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Allen, Tony Harris, Derrick Harris, Phil Tanner and Tracy Harris. The family will receive friends at Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Avenue, Lincolnton, GA from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held at Tabor Baptist Church 1219 Delhi Road, Tignall GA 30668 at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
