Melissa (Edmunds) Peters

Ms. Melissa Edmunds Peters, 45, formerly of Lincolnton, Georgia entered into rest Friday, February 7, 2020 at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Cumming, Georgia. A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 4 pm at Jones Chapel Church, Lincolnton. No visitation is planned at this time.

Ms. Peters was born in Augusta, grew up in Lincolnton. In Spring of 1993, during her Senior year in high school, she was crowned  Queen of the LCHS Junior- Senior Prom. Afterwards, she attended Augusta State University. During her career as an apartment complex manager, she had worked in the Augusta and Atlanta markets. Her paternal grandparents, Jim and Nan Ward Edmunds and maternal grandfather, Frank Parkman, preceded her in death.

She will be greatly missed by her parents, James H. "Jimmy" and Denise Parkman   Edmunds; brother, Jamie Edmunds; maternal grandmother, Betty Parkman; cousins and many friends that she made throughout her life.
