Mary June Richards
Thomson, GA - Mrs. Mary June Richards, 65, of Tankersley Rd. entered into rest November 16, 2010 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Lamar Richards for 46 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2010 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Warren County, Georgia. Pallbearers will be: Chris Adams, Junior Thompson, Jeff Hunt, Mark Richards, Skipper Widener, Troy Hinton, Leon Newsome, Jr. and Johnny Richards.
Mrs. Richards was born in Warren County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Marvin Toulson and the late Erma Skelley Toulson. She was retired from Thomson Company and Salant as a Data Entry Operator with over twenty years of service. Mrs. Richards also worked at Richards' Florist in Thomson for many years. She was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church and the Lois Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband, Lamar Richards, Thomson, GA; daughters, Pamela Hawkins and husband, Scott, Thomson, GA, Paula Hunt, Thomson, GA;
brothers, Claude Toulson, Columbia, SC, Ray Toulson, Sammy Toulson, James Toulson all of Warrenton, GA; sisters, Peggy Jackson, Warrenton, GA, Betty Ann Kitchens, Macon, GA; grandchildren, Brock Hawkins (Bliss), Bryce Hawkins, Breanna Hawkins, Ethan Hunt, Evan Hunt; and great-grandchild, Hank Hawkins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund,1424 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Ga 30824.
