Appling, Georgia – Mrs. Mary Ann White Renfro, 85, of White Tiger Rd. entered into rest July 14, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Renfro was born in Russellville, Arkansas and lived in Columbia County, Georgia for over 50 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved cooking, gardening, and canning. Mrs. Renfro worked at Sanderlin Green Houses for several years and she was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Mrs. Renfro was predeceased by her parents, Roy M. White and Frances Siler White; her beloved husband, Charles Edward Renfro; her step-mother, Bobbie White; granddaughter, Christen Renfro; brothers, Roy D. White, George White, and Melvin White; and sister, Carolyn Sue Stites.

Survivors include her sons, Charles "Chuck" Edward Renfro, IV (Pam) of Appling, GA and Danny Renfro of Knoxville, TN; brother, J.W. White; sister, Anna Ogden both of Muldrow, OK; grandchildren, Charles "Chad" E. Renfro, V (Rachel) and William Renfro; and great grandchildren, Sadie Claire Renfro and Evie Cait Renfro.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Collins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thank all of Mrs. Renfro's caregivers, Christina Willingham, Three Rivers Home Health and Alayna and Tiffany with Regency Hospice Care. God has blessed us with two special ladies who were more than care givers, close friends and companions, Jen Powell and Betty Jo Bailey. Mary had a special Angel who was more than a daughter-in-law and she is more like a daughter, Pam Renfro.

Friends may call at the residence of Chuck and Pam Renfro, 3271 White Tiger Rd. Appling, GA.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sharon Baptist Church Building Fund, 6262 Cobbham Rd., Appling, GA 30802.
