Thomson, GA – Mrs. Mary Katrina Johnson, 59, entered into rest March 6, 2019.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Augusta Georgia; she was a lifetime resident of Thomson, GA. Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Virgil "Buck" Norris Wade and the late Mildred "Millie" Thomas Pitstick. She was an administrator in the insurance field. Mrs. Johnson was a Methodist by faith. She attended Thomson High. Mrs. Johnson was interested in flowers and gardening and also antiques. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include the son, Kenneth Hadden (Shelley) of Warrenton, GA; daughter, Ashley Lucas (Gene) of Thomson, GA; sister, Lora Hadden of Thomson, GA; grandchild, Haley Gunby and step-grandchildren Cash Wilhoit and Cruise Wilhoit; caregiver and friend, Linda Ivey.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
