Mary Frances Castle

Thomson, GA-Mary Frances Castle, 83, of Salem Rd. entered into rest February 10, 2015. Mrs. Castle was born in Lavonia, Georgia and was the daughter of the late James Hobson Nicholson and the late Bertie Mae Jordan  Nicholson. She was a homemaker and a member of  Sweetwater Baptist Church. Survivors include her beloved husband of 54 years, James Marshall Castle; daughters, Cynthia Castle Copeland (Joe), Marjorie Castle Coleman (Max) and Margret Castle Echols (Matt); sister, Jeanette Nicholson Dover; grandchildren, Austin Lee Coleman, Katherine Lauren Coleman (Katie), Mary Chandler Echols and Charles Marshall Echols. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Castle was preceded in death by 11 siblings. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. J. B. Redd officiating. Interment will follow in the Sweetwater Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 o'clock Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge.
