Mary Irby Bishop Retired Insurance Agent Conyers, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Bessie Irby Bishop, 80 of Rockbridge Rd. entered into rest January 31, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James M. Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Glascock County. Mrs. Bishop was a born in Glascock County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Lowie Irby and the late Susie Bales Irby. Mrs. Bishop was the retired owner and operator of Bishop Insurance Agency. She was the beloved wife of the late Eddie Bishop. Survivors include her son; Bobby Carter of Conyers, GA, brothers and sisters; J.T. Irby of Thomson, GA, Mattie Irby Black of Gibson, GA, Johnny Irby of Conyers, GA, and Lucille Irby Edmonds of Bradenton, FL.
