Mary Alice Evans

Mrs. Evans, daughter of the late Bennie and Madge Dorn Butler, was born on August 23, 1930 in Greenwood, S.C. She grew up there but spent most of her adult life in Calhoun Falls until moving to Lincolnton seven years ago to be close to her son and his family. She was a member of Faith Harvest Fellowship Church where she had served as the pianist for 50 years. Her first husband, Billy Bonds died in 1965. Following his death, she married Monroe Evans, who also preceded her in death as well as four brothers, Curtis Butler, Thomas Butler, Harold Butler, and Clyde Butler. Son: Rev.
