Martha Jean Reeves

Martha Jean Reeves, 84, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on October 22, 2022.

Her husband Gregory Reeves, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hill, her son Carl Allen Reeves as well as her sisters, Agnes and Anna, preceded Mrs. Reeves in death.

Martha was a friendly and active member of the community wherever she resided, Augusta, GA, McGehee, AK and most recently Thomson GA. In Thomson, she was an active member of Raysville Baptist Church. She played the piano, organ, and love participating in church events. Martha loved wildlife, watching her birds and gardening. She enjoyed her neighbors and friends. Most of all, Martha cherished her grandchildren and was a loving and attentive grandmother.

Martha is survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Jean Reeves Gordon, and husband Paul, Christina Maria Reeves Edwards and husband Eli and Jake Edward Reeves; Daughter-in-law Jean Ellen Reeves; Great-grandchildren Henry Allen Gordon and Lucy Antoinette Gordon; Nephew, Stefan; Niece, RuthAnn; Brother-in-law Aubrey Reeves, wife Patsy, and niece Caroline. Martha leaves behind many others other loving family members and friends.

The Inurnment of Mrs. Reeves will be on January 16, 2023, in Westview Cemetery.
