Martha Ann Phillips Thomas, 68, of Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 14, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Alvin Dean Thomas.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert Phillips and Betty Brooks Campbell.

Mrs. Martha was born in Thomson, Georgia on April 15, 1955, grew up in Dearing, Georgia and lived in Richmond county for 20 years before returning to Thomson.  She was Baptist by faith and a homemaker for her family whom she loved dearly.  Martha loved fishing, shopping and walking and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.  She also loved animals and had many pets that she cared for thoughout her lifetime.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, David Kitchens (Laura) of Warrenton, Georgia and Robert Daniel Kitchens of Thomson, Georgia; her sister, Nancy Payne of Harlem, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Mariah Ovalle, Vicente Ovalle, Eliana Ovalle, Jacob Thomas and Joey Thomas.
