Mrs. Martha "Gayle" Montgomery, 75, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on September 24, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Montgomery, daughter of Mack and Mary Lazenby, was born on May 24, 1947 in Washington, Georgia. She retired from Thiele Kaolin Company in Wrens, Georgia. Gayle was enthusiastic about decorating her beautiful home, and enjoyed creating decoupage.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Montgomery, her daughter, Amy McIntyre (Troy), her son, Clayton Montgomery (Danielle), her sister, Barbara Sasser (Horace), her nephew, Dan Sasser, and her niece, Stephanie Graham (Jim). She was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Powell, and her parents.
