Ms. Martha King Jackson, 69, of Thomson, Georgia, entered into rest on September 5, 2021.

Martha was born in Augusta, Georgia on October 4, 1951, grew up in Hancock County, Georgia and spent most of her adult life in McDuffie County, Georgia.  She is a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of the late Bethea Maxie King and Doris Oxford King.  Martha was a homemaker and worked in a doctor's office for several years.  She loved reading and playing on her computer and especially loved her family and friends.

Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Bethea Maxie King and Doris Oxford King; and her daughter, Wendy Jackson.  Her survivors include her son, Mike Jackson of Thomson, Georgia; sisters, Melba Pearson "Bunny" of Warrenton, Georgia, Faye Murphy of Thomson, Georgia and Patsy Edwards of Camak, Georgia; and her grandchildren Trey Grady Jackson and Justin Luke Simons.

There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service held at Fort Creek Baptist Church, 1497 Fort Creek Road, Dearing, Georgia, this Saturday, September 11, 2021,  at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
