Marlene Bobo Dennis

Mrs. Marlene Bobo Dennis, 64, of Forest Lakes Estates entered into rest August 6, 2013.

The wife of the late Larry Thomas Dennis, she was a native of Wilkes County, Georgia but had been a resident of the area for many years.  Mrs. Dennis was an Administrative Specialist at the former Medical College of Georgia and a member of Lake Park Baptist Church where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

Survivors include two daughters: Lynn D. Cobb and husband, Butch of Wrens, and Karen M. Carter and husband, Michael of North Augusta, SC; a sister, Melva B. Lord of Ackworth; along with five grandchildren: Paul Cobb, Katelyn Cobb, Evan Cobb, Christopher Carter, and Charlotte Carter.

Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Cemetery in Washington, GA at 3:00pm on Friday, August 9, 2013 with Rev. Bob Gosey officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the services on Friday from 1:00 - 2:15pm at the funeral home.
