Marjorie Timmerman Lane

Mrs. Lane, daughter of the late James B. and Jewell Norvell Timmerman, was born in Columbia County, lived in Lincoln County and attended Lincolnton High School. In 1942, she married Thomas Lane and in 1955 they moved to Augusta. During which time, she was employed by St. Joseph Hospital and assumed the position of Chief Dietician where she retired after over 25 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Thomas W. Lane Son: James C. Lane and wife, Colleen, of Johnston, SC Daughter: Denise Purvis, and husband, Jay of Waynesboro Brother: James "Ben" Timmerman, Lincolnton Sister: Carolyn DeLeigle, Waynesboro 8 Grandchildren and numerous Great- grandchildren
